What rates can Textvertising provide?
Textvertising offer Text Raffles at a number of premium rates to the end user - 10p, 25p, 50p, £1.00, £1.50, £2.50 and £5.00. The choice is yours.

All of these rates can be used simultaneously inside your account. This enables you for example to run one voting service that costs £1.00 and another that could cost £1.50 to the end user.

How many text raffles can I run?
Each account you have allows 3 competitions or text voting services, one reverse auction and one text raffle service to be run simultaneously and independently of each other, each charging different rates if required.

How do I create a bank of raffle tickets?
You can set a start and end number of tickets inside your admin screen. If this service is to run alongside a traditional raffle, being able to define start and end tickets is extremely useful.

As each raffle ticket is issued the raffle ticket is marked pending until we receive a successful billed notice from the network. On receipt of successful, the ticket is marked issued. If the phone cannot be billed the ticket is re-pooled.

Once the raffle ticket pool has been extinguished, no more are issued and future requests are ignored.

How does the end user buy a raffle ticket?
The end user simply needs to text your keyword to buy a ticket.

How do I manage the service?
You do this through you admin page here at Textvertising. It is very easy to create, operate and manage a text raffle service. You can specify the number and range of tickets to issue, the start and end times and even limit the number of tickets that can be issued per phone if you wish.

The system will report live to you all raffle tickets sold. This all happens in real time.

What else do I need to know before I get started?
Each raffle ticket sold contains a unique raffle ticket number and a special unique ID. this ID prevents anyone simply making up a text message with a raffle ticket number in it. This prevents message forwarding since the ticket cannot be claimed twice.
