What rates can Textvertising provide?
Textvertising offer text chat at £1.50
per message.
However, you can configure how many replies each
end user is entitled to. This value can be set
between 1 and 5. This means that although the
end user is paying £1.50 to use the service they
could be entitled to receive up to 5 replies for
that (effectively costing 30p per message). This
would be advertised as "service costs 30p per
message billed in £1.50 increments.
How
does text chat work?
You
create a chat user form your main account and
give this user their own password. That user
logs in with your username but their new
password.
The chat admin screen has been developed to make
managing incoming messages really easy. All new
messages are grouped together showing the
clients unique ID (which remains the same), the
time the message was received and the message
sent.
The image below show exactly how the chat
service looks.
The green boxes indicate what each part means.
The system retrieves a list of all messages sent
to that handset from past conversations and
threads them together ("Chat log with this
person" above) so you can easily see what
conversation has taken place previously. This is
especially handy when dealing with many users as
it would otherwise be very difficult to remember
what has been said to any end user, especially
if it has been a number of days since their last
text.
We also lock numbers to the service for up to
to 7 days. This means that an end user does not
have to repeatedly use this initial keyword next
time they reply.
